Faith and Religion
Redditch owes its existence to Religion. The Cistercian monks who founded Bordesley Abbey set the seed for the Redditch we know today.
Over the intervening years, many religions and religious buildings have come and gone in the town. The building of the New Town hastened the demise of some and helped the formation of others. This section looks at faith in Redditch over the years. It may not be complete and accurate, if you know any information to improve its completeness and accuracy, please let us know.
